Healey & Rich: Acoustic Covers Duo

Are you planning a corporate function? A wedding? Live music will make your event even better. We’re an acoustic covers duo consisting of Andrew Healey (vocals & guitar) and Ian Rich (guitar &  vocals).

A wide repertoire

We play the classics—songs by artists like The Beatles, Neil Young and Crowded House. We even play some of the latest tunes.

If there is a song you’d like us to play that’s not on the list, let us know and we’ll do our best to learn it.

Andrew Healey

Andrew has performed for over 20 years. One highlight was singing four nights a week on the replica paddle steamer Waipa Delta. For H & R, Andrew provides powerful lead vocals and rhythm guitar.

Ian Rich

Ian has performed solo in Australia and NZ and as lead guitarist in a variety of bands. He also works as a music producer and session musician. In H & R, Ian provides tasteful guitar solos and impeccable vocal harmonies.

"Thank you very much for your super performance entertaining my guests. I have received so many favourable comments. Some also mentioned the songs you sung, probably being able to relate songs to the period music they enjoyed. There is something for everyone in your repertoire of songs. Guests spoke of the fact that the loudness was good background music, which is what I wanted it to be. So I was pleased with your judgement...it was a pleasure to meet you." — Carol Hood.

"Healey & Rich did a great job at our wedding. Thank you forthe music!" — Mike Wade-French

We’re prepared

We take our job very seriously. So, we like to be prepared — the last thing you want to worry about at your function  is the musicians!  So, we will generally arrive at your venue about an hour before we’re due to start. This gives us  ample time to make sure everything is  ready.

Not too loud or quiet

Your guests won’t be able to talk to each other if the music is too loud. Conversely, it’s hard to “rock” if the music is too quiet. So,  before we start, we’ll do a quick sound check. Let us know if the volume is right.

Our routine

We are able to perform up to four, 50-minute sets with 15-minute breaks in between. If you wish, we can play music through our sound  system during our breaks. Speeches  Will you be having speeches? If you’d like to use our sound system, let us know in advance.

Add some spice to your event with live music.
